What Is the TrexPro Program?

Trex Company is the nation's largest manufacturer of composite decking, with over 30 years of industry leadership. The TrexPro program is Trex's professional contractor certification and training program, designed to identify contractors who have demonstrated expertise in proper Trex installation. Landmark Craftsman holds Platinum level — the highest designation available.

What Platinum Certification Means in Practice

To achieve and maintain Platinum status, contractors must complete factory-authorized Trex installation training, demonstrate a track record of high-quality installations, maintain excellent customer satisfaction ratings, and stay current on new Trex product lines and installation requirements.

Why this matters: Trex composite decking is an excellent product — but it needs to be installed correctly to perform as designed. Improper fastening, inadequate ventilation, incorrect substructure spacing, or wrong gap allowances can cause problems with even premium boards. A certified installer knows how to do it right.

The Warranty Advantage

Here's the part that catches homeowners' attention: Trex's full product warranty — including the 25-year Fade & Stain Warranty on Transcend products — requires proper installation by a qualified contractor. If a non-certified contractor installs your Trex deck incorrectly and problems arise, your warranty claim is at risk.

When Landmark Craftsman installs your Trex deck, you have the full backing of both our workmanship and Trex's manufacturer warranty.

Why We Chose to Invest in Trex Certification

We became TrexPro Platinum certified because we believe Teton Valley and Jackson Hole homeowners deserve the best available product, installed properly. The conditions here — the altitude, the snow, the UV, the temperature swings — demand it.
